The 26-year-old’s past work includes Race To Witch Mountain with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and The Hunger Games. He’s most known for his current role in the epic History Channel drama Vikings.
Eric Keenleyside admits he was a bit star struck the first time he arrived on a Vancouver set with Steve Carell. “The first time I was introduced to him, I was a bit choked up,” says the Tsawwassen actor. “I’ve met a lot of famous people and worked with a lot of famous people, but that still happens to me because there is that image that you get from them and their career, but he’s just a regular guy.”

NOTHING BUT PROPER PREP WORK WILL READY YOU FOR THE AUDITION ROOM’S CURVEBALLS
Your work and your preparation is not just for a specific audition or job. It’s daily. You wouldn’t run a marathon without training months to get there, and it’s truly the same with acting.
As actors, it’s not unusual to get a big audition thrown at us extremely last-minute. And while it can be scary, it’s part of the job. When that rushed pressure evolves into a heightened state of anxiety that consumes us, it robs us of the precious time we have to actually prepare a solid performance.
HOW TO CRAFT YOUR PERFECT CAREER (HINT: IT DOESN’T HAVE TO INVOLVE STARDOM)
The path of the actor does not have to be one of poverty and anguish. You have creativity and resourcefulness in abundance. You can make this year the start of a perfect life as an actor and a whole balanced being, custom designed by you and for you.
