VANCOUVER CIVIC ALL-CANDIDATES MEETING FOCUSES ON ARTS AND CULTURE
To raise the profile of arts and culture during the provincewide
municipal elections Saturday, Oct. 20, the alliance has created a website called ArtsVoteBC.ca. The website hopes to convince municipal governments throughout the province to increase the amounts it spends on cultural grant programs and cultural infrastructure.
Outbound is an original film by local filmmaker Brian Cucek. “Outbound brings together the two things I love to do: make films and work with people who have special needs,” Cucek said.
