Vines Art Festival is an accessible community-oriented free public event that creates platforms for local artists and performers to create with and on the land, steering
their creative impulses toward work that focuses on the environment – whether a deep love of nature, sustainability, or climate justice.
More than 70 films from 15 countries are featured at this 30th anniversary Festival, along with 11 visiting filmmakers, 27
local directors and numerous local performing artists, in addition to parties and talkback sessions.

shared experiences. The Cold Reading Series (CRS) is committed to supporting and developing the talents of Vancouver’s story tellers – writers, actors, and musicians alike – by providing a forum where they can present their craft to a live audience and get instant feedback.
The festival features a young
company of 38 emerging theatre artists who will direct, design, stage manage, tech, produce, and perform in three hot contemporary Canadian plays: Selfie by Christine Quintana, Tiny Replicas by Dave Deveau, and Theory by Norman Yeung.
