ACTOR AJUAWAK KAPASHESIT BRINGS QUIET RAGE TO FILM ADAPTATION OF RICHARD WAGAMESE'S INDIAN HORSE
Taking his first-ever lead in the much-anticipated feature, based on the near-iconic Richard Wagamese novel, the 27-year-old actor dominates a lot of his scenes by doing virtually nothing, all while telegraphing the bitterness, pain,
and anger that will eventually devour Saul Indian Horse and reduce him from super-talented NHL hopeful to hungry ghost haunting the streets of Canada in a stupor of addiction.

SAG-AFTRA CALLS FOR ENDING MEETINGS IN HOTEL ROOMS,
RESIDENCES
The move, announced Thursday, is called Guideline No. 1 and is the first expansion of the union’s two-month-old Code of Conduct initiative to confront harassment and advance equity in the industry. SAG-AFTRA released a “Code of Conduct on Sexual Harassment” on Feb. 10 instructing its 160,000 members on how to deal with the

INCLUSION RIDERS BOAST HIGH-PROFILE SUPPORT, BUT LACK COMMITMENT FROM MOST
STUDIOS
Save for a handful of top Hollywood actors and producers, no major studio has publicly backed the adoption of inclusion riders after Frances McDormand cemented the little-known contractual term in the national lexicon.
It often feels like casting directors are unapproachable, almost like the great and powerful Oz. But what we really want you to remember about CDs is that they are working their asses off in
often-underappreciated jobs, they need you, and they’re human.
Instead of putting all your focus on securing an agent, learn how to book your own work. Once you gain professional experience and build relationships with some industry decision-makers, you’ll be much more desirable to agencies looking to grow their
roster!
WHY AGENTS DROP TALENT + HOW NOT TO BE ONE OF
THEM
It's important to become more than just a face in a headshot—your agent has hundreds of those. If they get to know you as a person and if you take the time to keep them informed about your career, they'll develop more of a personal relationship with you, making it that much harder to drop you from their
roster.
