A former SFU theatre student, Nikohl Boosheri, is once again going to appear in a film that challenges sexual restrictions promoted by more conservative Islamic religious leaders. 

WEST SHORE CONTINUES TO BE POPULAR LOCATION FOR FILM PRODUCTIONS
The West Shore continues to be a popular place for movie productions this year, according to the local film commission. While the natural beauty of the area brings a number of smaller productions to the area throughout the year, blockbuster productions are also beginning to notice what the West Shore has to offer.

VANCOUVER’S FINN WOLFHARD TALKS NEW SEASON OF ‘STRANGER THINGS’
Vancouver actor Finn Wolfhard is certainly no stranger these days. A year after starring in Netflix’s sci-fi/supernatural hit “Stranger Things” as Mike Wheeler, the friend of missing 12-year-old Will Byers, Wolfhard says his life has been “definitely crazy, in a great way.”

AUDITION WORKSHOP AT THE FOUNDRY

ACTORS get your audition skills… And acting chops ready for a very busy 2017 ​fall ​season. Sides will be allocated ​in advance from from a selection of current auditions.  Actors prepare the scene in class and present their audition to Matthew in front of the camera. In an open class format, in order that everyone in the class can benefit, Matthew will provide feedback and notes for the first audition.  The actor will have time to take those notes and work on them before filming a final take.
