take part in the Festival, highlighting the important presence of Brazilian cinema, as they are our guest country of honour this year. We are also pleased to announce a new section called ¡Activismo!, made up of films that discuss political and social movements in Latin America.
The Film and Media Showcase is a forum for members of Cineworks, WIFTV and DOC BC that provides filmmakers
with an opportunity to share their work with other artists, across genres and in a variety of lengths, in a space dedicated to discovery, discussion and inspiration. Each screening will be followed by a question and answer session with creators, with informal conversation and networking afterwards.

and vibrant independent theatre community. The Fringe strives to break down traditional boundaries and encourage open dialogue between audiences and artists by presenting live un-juried, uncensored theatre in an accessible and informal environment. All artists receive 100% of regular box office revenues generated during the Festival.
