If the rumour mills are to believed, the TV show's lead actor Peter Capaldi apparently told fans earlier this week that the show will be shooting in Hollywood North in October.

In the year 2016, it’s generally considered a good move to present your work and personality in an engaging, informative way on various platforms—but be careful you don’t speak too much out of turn, because what you tweet and post on Facebook can have consequences.

WHAT TO WEAR TO AN AUDITION
What should I wear to an audition? Answer: Whatever You Want. In 90% of cases, this is absolutely true. What do you feel confident in? What do you feel comfortable in? Wear it. Go on with your day. However, there are always exceptions to every rule.

SUMMER FILM+TV ACTING INTENSIVES FOR KIDS+TEENS
Summer Intensives are a chance for students to see the kind of progress they can make when they devote 100% of their energy to acting. As with all Biz Studio programs, summer students have about twice the one-on-one time with faculty as students at other schools (max of 6 students per class).
Each week also features workshops with local casting directors. Intensives run August 8th-12th and 22nd-26th.

FILM & MEDIA SHOWCASE: CINEWORKS | WIFTV | DOC BC

The Film and Media Showcase is a forum for members of Cineworks, WIFTV and DOC BC that provides filmmakers with an opportunity to share their work with other artists, across genres and in a variety of lengths, in a space dedicated to discovery, discussion and inspiration. Each screening will be followed by a question and answer session with creators, with informal conversation and networking afterwards.

VANCOUVER FRINGE FESTIVAL
September 8 – 18
Cultivating artists and audiences to create an open and vibrant independent theatre community. The Fringe strives to break down traditional boundaries and encourage open dialogue between audiences and artists by presenting live un-juried, uncensored theatre in an accessible and informal environment.
