If the rumour mills are to believed, the TV show's lead actor Peter Capaldi apparently told fans earlier this week that the show will be shooting in Hollywood North in October.

We chatted with stunt woman, actress, YouTuber/vlogger and cosplayer Cassandra Ebner about her work and the local film & TV industry. As a stunt woman she both stunt doubles adrenaline-filled scenes and stunt performs intricate background/extra scenes.

How important is social media to your career? In the year 2016, it’s generally considered a good move to present your work and personality in an engaging, informative way on various platforms—but be careful you don’t speak too much out of turn, because what you tweet and post on Facebook can have consequences.
What should I wear to an audition? Answer: Whatever You Want. In 90% of cases, this is absolutely true. What do you feel confident in? What do you feel comfortable in? Wear it. Go on with your day. However, there are always exceptions to every rule.

SUMMER FILM+TV ACTING INTENSIVES FOR KIDS+TEENS Summer Intensives are a chance for students to see the kind of progress they can make when they devote 100% of their energy to acting. As with all Biz Studio programs, summer students have about twice the one-on-one time with faculty

More than 60 films will
take part in the Festival, highlighting the important presence of Brazilian cinema, as they are our guest country of honour this year. We are also pleased to announce a new section called ¡Activismo!, made up of films that discuss political and social movements in Latin America.
The Film and Media Showcase is a forum for members of Cineworks, WIFTV and DOC BC that provides filmmakers
with an opportunity to share their work with other artists, across genres and in a variety of lengths, in a space dedicated to discovery, discussion and inspiration. Each screening will be followed by a question and answer session with creators, with informal conversation and networking afterwards.
Cultivating artists and audiences to create an open
and vibrant independent theatre community. The Fringe strives to break down traditional boundaries and encourage open dialogue between audiences and artists by presenting live un-juried, uncensored theatre in an accessible and informal environment. All artists receive 100% of regular box office revenues generated during the Festival.
