an Anthony Hopkins film, and for Kelowna resident Chad Fortin, that dream became reality.
Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer participated in a conference call with industry analysts and talked about
several of their upcoming projects, but it was Power Rangers that got the most buzz as he revealed, “We are really, really excited about the Power Rangers movie. We could see doing five or six or seven.”

productions currently shooting in the city and in the province of British Columbia. Tax incentives have long contributed to the region’s popularity, and with the Canadian dollar at new lows, goods and services are even cheaper for the Hollywood types who head north to shoot.

Unless you're Judi Dench or Juliet Stevenson, it can be terribly depressing as an older actress, waiting at home for the phone to ring. I was born in 1949 and I remember when I was young that anyone who was 60 was really old. They were done. They were going to retire and put their feet up and play golf. Now, people
have still got it at 75.

Always let people in your industry know when you are in a play, on a TV show, in a film. Be in touch a couple
times per year even when you are not working. Don’t over do it. Don’t be a ‘stalker’. Just stay in touch.
We’re all in this together, and there are not “us” vs. “them” divisions, but here are some tips and suggestions of what to do and what
not to do. It’s always better to err on the side of restraint, and a lack of presumption.
