MICHAEL EKLUND AND CAMILLE SULLIVAN WIN BEST ACTING HONOURS
Michael Eklund and Camille Sullivan won top honours at the Union of British Columbia Performers and Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists Awards ceremony that took place on Saturday, November 7 in Vancouver.
WHISTLER FILM FESTIVAL 2015: KIEFER SUTHERLAND, ROBERT CARLYLE TO BE HONOURED
British-born Canadian actor, producer, and director Kiefer Sutherland will receive the Trailerblazer in Acting award at an event on December 4. Meanwhile, Scottish actor Robert Carlyle will be honoured with the WFF 2015 Maverick Award on December 5.

TEENS FILM+TV ACTING CLASSES (September to November)
We’re registering now for the fall semester of the teens Confidence
on Camera class (Thursdays 4:30-6:30or Saturdays 12:00-2:00) and Intermediate On-Camera Scene Study class (Saturdays 3:00-6:00pm or Sundays 11:30-2:30pm). Biz Studio students have about twice the one-on-one time with faculty as students at other schools (max of 6 students per class). INTRO TO MEISNER WORKSHOP A five hour intensive workshop introducing the Meisner technique, widely regarded as one of the most effective training methods for actors. The Film and Media Showcase is a forum for members of Cineworks, WIFTV and DOC BC
providing filmmakers with an opportunity to share their creations with other practitioners, across genres and in a variety of lengths, in a forum created for discovery, discussion and inspiration.
