JEANNE TRIPPLEHORN, CALLUM KEITH RENNIE JOIN CAST OF 'LITTLE PINK HOUSE'
The film follows the true story of Susette Kelo, a nurse from a small Connecticut town, who stands up to politicians that want to bulldoze her home and sell off the cleared land to a billion-dollar pharmaceutical company. Production on the film is about to begin in Vancouver.

Lawrence wonders if she's wasted her time trying to be likable while her male counterparts are commended for being fierce. She ultimately concludes that she's "over" finding adorable ways to state her opinion.

3 TYPES OF REDIRECTS TO EXPECT IN AUDITIONS
The redirect, or direction given by casting following your initial read, is an opportunity to collaborate with the audition room. There are as many scenarios as there are casting directors. I will suggest three you may run into, how to adjust them, and why the redirect is so important to your bookings.

BRUHANSKI ACTING STUDIO
The Bruhanski Acting Studio  is now introducing a dynamic new training format for committed actors: Cuatra/Dramatica partners groups of four selected actors with dedicated playwrights who will create scenes and monologues designed  specifically to enhance each actor's strengths and  to provide challenges that will foster profound artistic growth. This format provides more stage time and personal attention.  All quads taught personally by Alex Bruhanski. Each quad meets twice weekly with an optional review session on weekends.

TEENS FILM+TV ACTING CLASSES (September to November)
We’re registering now for the fall semester of the teens Confidence on Camera class (Thursdays 4:30-6:30or Saturdays 12:00-2:00) and Intermediate On-Camera Scene Study class (Saturdays 3:00-6:00pm or Sundays 11:30-2:30pm). Biz Studio students have about twice the one-on-one time with faculty as students at other schools (max of 6 students per class). We have a legacy of training young actors who go on to work in the industry, *outstanding* instructors, and a beautiful downtown campus inside a working film & tv casting studio.

COLD READING SERIES
November 9
Building on the success of the summer series, the CRS will continue straight through the rest of the year (and beyond). Held on the second Monday of the month, every second month at The Backstage Lounge on Granville Island. CRS CRS is Vancouver’s longest running live script reading event. Its purpose is to support local creativity, give writers a place to test their new works live, and give actors a chance to hone their craft while supporting local writers.
