CANADA LOOSENS RESTRICTIONS FOR U.S. CABLE CHANNELS
The CRTC in a landmark decision ordered an end to genre protection, which in the past guaranteed local cable channels carriage and protection from direct competition with U.S. channels. The sea change in the Canadian market will now see open competition among all cable channels in the Canadian market, local or foreign.
THE POST AT 750 CULTURA`L HUB OPENS ITS DOORS IN DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER
A $1.8-million renovation has been completed on a new 8,500-square-foot facility at 750 Hamilton Street, which is shared by the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Touchstone Theatre, Music on Main, and the DOXA Documentary Film Festival.
iZombie, shot in Vancouver, stars Rose McIver as Liv, a medical student turned zombie. The series is produced by Bonanza Productions in association with Spondoolie Productions and Warner Bros. Television.

AUDITION CLASS WITH STUART AIKINS with Stuart Aikins

What could be better than an audition class taught by someone who has been IN THE ROOM on the opposite side of the audition for many, many years?

ides are allocated by Stuart from from a selection of current auditions. Actors prepare the scene before the class (except for week one, which is a cold read) and present their audition in front of the camera. In an open class format
Stuart will provide feedback and notes for the first audition. All auditions are filmed and week three and four film is sent to actors after the class via a link.

Biz Studio Spring Break Intensives are a chance for students to see the kind of progress they can make when they are able to devote
