B.C. FILM, VIDEO-GAME INDUSTRIES FLY
HIGH, FALL HARD BEFORE STAGING COMEBACK
In the past 25 years, two trades that represent the most lucrative entertainment industries in Vancouver, video games and film/television, experienced rises (one meteoric, the other steady), then falls, before levelling off in 2014.
The community has spoken, and STORYHIVE, a community-powered funding program from Telus, has announced the 15 winning projects to receive $10,000 grants.
