GREETINGS FROM VANCOUVER: BATTLING THE RAIN FOR A MARATHON SESSION OF TV SET VISITS
The much chillier Vancouver has become a hot shooting spot, thanks to its tax breaks and unique ability to stand in for everything from sleepy Maine towns to superhero metropolises. I suited up for a whopping eight set visits in four days to find out what makes Vancouver and the actors who call it their (temporary) home so special.

KELOWNA NATIVE BRINGS INTERNATIONAL CO-PRODUCTION HOME
A feature film called Lord Jones is Dead, currently in post production, has strong roots in the city of Kelowna. The Canadian-South African co-production is directed by Andrew Holmes, who was introduced to film while attending Rutland Senior Secondary School.

2015 PUSH INTERNATIONAL PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED
The 2015 Push International Performing Arts Festival will feature pieces by artists from countries including Argentina, Australia, the Netherlands, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It’s a program that artistic and executive director Norman Armour says “covers a lot of territory”.
