GREETINGS FROM VANCOUVER: BATTLING THE RAIN FOR A MARATHON SESSION OF TV SET VISITS The much chillier Vancouver has become a hot shooting spot, thanks to its tax breaks and unique ability to stand in for everything from sleepy Maine towns to
superhero metropolises. I suited up for a whopping eight set visits in four days to find out what makes Vancouver and the actors who call it their (temporary) home so special. http://insidetv.ew.com/2014/11/13/vancouver-sets-arrow-once-flash-bates/

INTERNATIONAL VISUAL-EFFECTS FIRM MAKES VANCOUVER ITS FIRST ANCHOR IN NORTH AMERICA “There are
locations with better tax breaks. There are more aggressive places, but Vancouver is a great destination for our clients to come. It’s a very healthy marketplace already, and there is a great talent pool and a very understanding and committed government that wants to encourage and flourish the business.” http://www.vancouversun.com/International+visual+effects+firm+makes+Vancouver+first+anchor+North+America/10372293/story.html
NO ONE
NEEDS A NEEDY ACTOR In most aspects of our lives we search out people who can do things for themselves. We put great value in that. Could that possibly mean a casting director is looking for actors who come as close to a zero on the neediness scale as possible? Yes, my friends. It absolutely does. http://www.backstage.com/advice-for-actors/backstage-experts/no-one-needs-needy-actor/
