Los Angeles famously calls itself the Entertainment Capital of the World. But the reality is, many filmmakers have long since fled to
cheaper locations in London, New York, Canada and elsewhere. Now Hollywood is battling to win back its title.
We asked mayoralty candidates in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody (aka The City of the Arts) to answer three questions about how they see the arts thriving under their
leadership.

Big Hero 6’s Jamie Chung has a few things she’d like to say about being an Asian-American actress, not least of which is that people shouldn’t make such a big deal about her playing Japanese or Chinese when she’s actually Korean. And that’s just the beginning of it.
We worry so much about all the stuff in between A and Z when it’s really just these two things that keep us from making things happen. A: You’re not starting. Z: You’re not going far enough.
Actors are known to be a desirous bunch, who will stop at nothing in their drive to succeed. It is no
wonder, then, that actors are prime targets for some shady dealings.
