HAZY FUTURE FOR UNDERFUNDED FESTIVAL DES FILMS DU MONDE
Virtually all of the government funding has been cut for what used to be the city's leading film festival, and the event has also lost some key corporate sponsors. HOW BODY LANGUAGE AFFECTS YOUR AUDITIONS
In auditions, confidence is everything. It's your body language, your voice, how you carry yourself, the image you project, before you even open your mouth. It's those first 15 seconds of your audition as you are walking into the room. Your body language should say, "Trust me. I got this!"

BOOKING IS A SEPARATE BEAST
In all the years that I have been working as an actor, I cannot recall ever completely duplicating my audition during a shoot. Inevitably something gets changed. So much so sometimes I think to myself, "This is so different from my audition, why did they even pick me?" The answer is simple. Booking is a separate beast!

FIND YOUR FUNNY - The comedy class helps actors find their CONFIDENCE in comedy...preparing actors for comedy tapings, auditions, and set work. By exploring IMPROV as a tool to access comedy - and applying that knowledge and skill to film and television  - actors will "find their funny".  Comedy takes hard work. Great comedy doesn't only come from great acting .Funny work comes from well-educated comedy acting. An actor needs to play off the partner, finding the moments. Actors need to know comedic scene analysis.  Absorb comic scene structure. Play the rules of comedic improv. And then find the temp, timing, and dynamics of comedy.
