HOW TO DEAL WITH THE INDUSTRY BEING 'UNFAIR'
Our lives can usually best be seen through the rearview mirror. We rarely look at all the positive things that we have here and now because we're too busy obsessing about the things that we don't have. We rarely take a moment within the craziness of our day to stop the noise and simply be grateful.

PODESWA COMPLAINS CANUCK TV LACKS 'VISION'
Canadian television lacks vision and courage, and that's the reason it's failing to keep up with the so-called Golden Age south of the border, says TV director Jeremy Podeswa. The Toronto-born Emmy nominee bemoaned a lack of bold homegrown dramas to match the prestige properties that have lured him to the United States, where his credits include "Boardwalk Empire," "American Horror Story," "The Walking Dead" and "Homeland."

FINAL INTENSIVE OF 2013 WITH MATTHEW HARRISON
November 9 & 10
This workshop is renowned as an awesome experience. Hundreds of actors have proclaimed that their career, artistic, and even life perspective has shifted at this workshop. It's where Matthew discovered and defined The Three Pillars of Acting. Through intensive focus exercises, the actor is drawn out, into what the Foundry calls being 'vectors-out', the natural place where the performer can live truthfully in the scene. Actors receive scenes and scene partners in advance, rehearse and fully prepare scenes, and apply the work to focal exercises, preparatory exploration, and scene presentation.
