BC FILM COMMISSION MANAGER EDUCATES SQUAMISH COUNCIL
Twenty-two productions set up shop in Squamish in 2012 compared to 14 in 2011, and to further capitalize on the year-to-year growth Gordon Hardwick with the BC Film Commission was invited to Squamish to discuss the future of the industry and how to leverage past filming successes in Squamish.

THE CW ORDERS EARLY RENEWALS FOR SUPERNATURAL, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES AND ARROW
Arrow gave The CW its best series premiere since 2009, Vampire Diaries is the network's highest-rated show in target demos and Supernatural is up 15 percent in total audience versus last season. The dramas will be entering their second, fifth and ninth seasons in fall 2013, respectively.

SASKATCHEWAN TO FUND NEW CREATIVE INDUSTRIES AGENCY, SIGNALLING AN END TO SASKFILM

CINEPLEX BUYS VANCOUVER INDEPENDENT THEATRES
