UNIVERSAL GETS BEHIND VANCOUVER TWINS' HORROR MOVIE
A Vancouver filmmaking team is one step closer to the big time. This week, Jen and Sylvia Soska announced that Universal Pictures has acquired the international distribution rights for their second feature film, American Mary. This means thousands, if not millions of people will have the opportunity to see the horror movie when it comes to theatres, most likely next year.

JERSEY BOYS IS A GUY'S GUY MUSICAL

COMCAST, NBCU AND UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SUED FOR ALLEGED LABOR & PAY VIOLATIONS
The suit is alleging California Labor Code violations over a 4-year period including failure to pay overtime or provide required meal and rest periods. It also alleges unpaid and illegally calculated overtime compensation, failure to pay minimum wage, and numerous other unfair and unlawful practices.

This class will give you a taste of what it takes to be a professional actor. We start with text analysis, breaking down the script, and preparing your work. You work with monologues, scenes and drills getting into emotions and characters. We film your work and show you camera technique and the technical aspect of acting on-set for the camera.

Universal would go on to become the oldest continuously operating film producer and distributor in the United States. In an industry defined by change, Universal's spinning globe logo has remained, along with its back lot, and tour, in Universal City, California.
