WOLVERINE TO BE SHOT IN AUSTRALIA, NOT VANCOUVER
"We moved from Vancouver for economic reasons," Fox line producer Joe Caracciolo told media in Sydney, Australia, according to a report by Screen Daily. "More and more there is pressure on the costs of pictures and the numbers were not adding up [in Canada.]"

Maria and André Jacquemetton are screenwriters and executive producers on Mad Men, the cult series created by Matthew Weiner and set in a Madison Avenue ad agency during the 1960s. FILM INDUSTRY PANS SASKATCHEWAN'S NEWEST FILM TAX CREDIT
The Canadian province of Saskatchewan has a new 25 percent film tax credit to replace the existing 45 percent film employment tax credit program. That's about all that's cheering Canadian film and TV producers. The new tax credit covers all production expenses, including labor costs, but is non-refundable.
