Canadian film and TV production volume hit a record high last year, thanks to Hollywood. VANCOUVER TO ASK BC GOVERNMENT TO ALLOW MOVIE SCREENINGS AT RIO THEATRE
Vancouver city council voted today (January 31) to request that the B.C. provincial government allow the Rio Theatre to continue showing movie screenings without alcohol service. SONY EXPANDS VANCOUVER 3D AND ANIMATION PRODUCTION FACILITIES
Sony Pictures Imageworks, the visual effects and digital character Animation Company, is expanding its Vancouver production facilities, effectively doubling its floor space. The Academy Award-winning operation is opening an additional 16,000 square feet of space in the Yaletown area, it second office in the area.
