SCOTT G HYMAN LAUNCHES ZEST PRODUCTIONS TO SHOOT MOVIES IN CANADA
Former Sneak Preview Entertainment exec Scott G. Hyman (500 Days of Summer) has launched a Vancouver-based production shingle, Zest Productions, to make movies in Canada. The first project is a screen adaptation of a 1974 young adult sci-fi novel, House of Stairs, by the late American writer William Sleator, whose rights Hyman optioned.STUDENTS GO BOWLING AFTER FILM CREW TAKES OVER VANCOUVER SCHOOL GYM
Students at Vancouver Technical secondary are going bowling this week and some teachers aren't happy about it. The school's main gymnasium is off-limits this week because an episode of the American TV series The Secret Circle is being shot there. CANADIAN FILM MAKES OSCAR SHORTLIST
A Canadian documentary has taken one step closer to an Academy Award.
