B.C. ADDS 3,500 JOBS IN JANUARY TO ERASE DECEMBER LOSSES
Province had nearly equal number of full-time gains as it did part-time losses,
according to StatCan. The biggest jump came for information/culture/recreation (+9,300 jobs), the StatCan category associated with B.C.’s film and TV industry. January’s gains come after the industry lost 9,900 jobs in December.

TV in Burlington. Now he has announced the creation of a new Hamilton-based film company, Precious Metal Productions, with his actor wife Ann Pirvu. The duo say the company will focus on character-driven television movies and feature films.
