The final economic spinoff numbers for the true Hollywood North in Canada are in: the film and television production
industry in British Columbia hit an all-time record of $4.8 billion in direct spending in the provincial economy in 2021. This represents a 40% increase or $1.4 billion more than the direct-pandemic hit year of 2020 when BC recorded $3.4 billion and a 30% increase.
